Privacy Policy

Approach3D ("the app") is designed to work without an account and to keep your data on your device.

What stays on your device

Your practice history (hold-entry answers, quiz answers and scores) is stored locally on your device. We do not receive it unless you choose to share it.

Instructor links (optional)

If you tap Create instructor link, the app sends a plain-text progress report and summary numbers (for example, "Hold entries: 8/10 correct") to our server so that anyone with the link can view it. The report does not include your name, email, location or device identifiers. Links are unguessable, are not indexed by search engines, and expire 180 days after the last update.

Support messages

If you contact us through the support form, we store your message and the optional name and email you enter, only to reply to you.

What we do not do

No advertising, no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs, no sale of data, and no location access.

Service providers

Instructor links and support messages are stored with Cloudflare (Workers KV). Procedure data comes from the FAA; terrain from AWS Open Data terrain tiles; these are bundled with the app and involve no personal data.

Deleting data

Deleting the app removes your local history. To delete an instructor link before it expires, contact us via the support form with the link.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We will post updates to this page and change the effective date.
