Training aid only — not for navigation

Approach3D is an educational tool for ground study. It must not be used for flight planning or in-flight navigation. Procedure depictions are simplified (for example, turn radii and climb gradients are illustrative). Always use current, official FAA charts and publications and follow ATC instructions.

Data sources

Procedure data is derived from the FAA Coded Instrument Flight Procedures (CIFP) for the AIRAC cycle shown in the app. Terrain is from AWS Open Data terrain tiles (USGS 3DEP, SRTM, GMTED, ETOPO). Data may be outdated or contain errors.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any damages arising from its use.

Subscriptions

If offered, paid features are billed through your Apple ID and managed in your App Store account settings. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
